At Behavio, we’re building incredibly useful tools for brand marketers – and they’re loving them! Our clients include brands like LEGO, IKEA, or Médecins Sans Frontières.
Now we’re looking for a Head of People to help us grow without losing the soul.
We’re scaling quickly across Europe and beyond, our team doubled in the last two years. And to keep that growth sustainable, healthy, and human – we need someone who’s both energizing and go-getters and a good fit to our values. Our culture was always strong and unique - lot of laughs, kindness, caring, silliness, and specific vocabulary. And we don't want to lose any of it.
This role will shape how we grow: who joins us, how they’re supported, and how we build a culture where people can do their best work – and love doing it. You’ll lead a small team (office manager, recruiter, etc.) and work closely with founders and team leads to turn Behavio into one of the best places to work in European startups. This is a key leadership role – we want someone who’ll be a true partner to the business, and a warm, smart presence that makes others better.

What you'll be in charge of:
📌Hiring the right people, fast and thoughtfully. Own and refine the entire hiring process – from sourcing to onboarding – to match Behavio’s culture and ambition.
📌Growing and supporting the team. Help every team member grow with structured development plans, 1:1s, support frameworks, and feedback systems that are practical, human, and energizing.
📌Culture & communication. Co-own internal comms, culture rituals, events, and values that keep people motivated, clear, and connected.
📌Operations that actually support people. You’ll improve processes around compensation, contracts, onboarding, documentation, and internal tools – in a way that’s clear and friendly, not bureaucratic.
📌People analytics & strategy, Map where we are, where we want to go, and what kind of team will get us there – across hiring, retention, engagement, and productivity.
📌Coach and support the leadership team. Work closely with team leads and founders to improve how we give feedback, delegate, and grow as managers.
That’s the job. Who are you?
✔ You’re a senior HR generalist – solid in hiring, development, internal comms, and people ops.
✔ You’ve helped scale a team during fast growth (ideally in B2B SaaS or a startup).
✔ You’re a go-getter – fast, organized, effective. If a fast pace during working hours stresses you out, this won’t be your place.
✔ You’re kind, smart, and warm – people trust you and feel better after talking to you.
✔ You are a natural authority and you know how to energize a team – even when things get hectic.
✔ You lead with warmth, but hold yourself and others accountable.
✔ You’re not afraid to try, fail, and learn fast.
✔ You speak excellent English – and Czech too.
