We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our ESG CDP team at NN to help us design, build, deploy and run the ESG Central Data Platform solution that will deliver ESG (Environment, Society, Governance) metrics for internal and external stakeholders. Reporting on ESG metrics of the asset portfolio of NN is a key component of the reporting needs and obligations at NN. The ESG Central Data Platform delivers the data collection, aggregation and reporting functionality required by many internal and external stakeholders.
Your impact as an QA Engineer at NN
The ESG Central Data Platform is an Azure-based solution, built on Azure technologies such as Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Web App and Function App. The solution is now used for almost a year, but there is a large backlog of functional and technical new features to be developed. We need a QA Engineer to help us speed up the delivery process in the next months.
At NN we are heavily investing in automated testing. However, we also have a lot of solutions and teams where manual testing is a key part of the work. In this role, the majority of the testing activities will be manual, and the minority will be automated. In this role you can contribute to automating more testing activities, but your primary work will be performing the tests.
Our solution has many components: data, frontend, backend. Your testing activities will cover all different components and functionalities.
You will work in the ESG CDP team, which consists of data engineers, frontend engineers and a Product Owner. The team is located in The Netherlands and Poland.
Your main responsibilities would be to:
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2 or more years of hands-on experience testing.
Your work will include:
- Create test plans together with the team to facilitate unit testing, performance testing, system integration testing and end user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate testing activities within the team, with other DevOps teams and with stakeholders.
- Perform and support test activities in different environments
- Improve testing practices in the team
Your profile:
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years experience on testing IT solutions, both manual and with test automation tooling. You have experience in developing test cases based on requirements and work closely with developers to ensure correct test cases with full coverage.
- You have experience working with Azure technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps teams
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
- Preferably you have tested financial data and frontend solutions.
