As a Senior Product Designer for our Desktop Suite App, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our flagship desktop application. You will work alongside another designer, each responsible for different aspects of the product, and collaborate closely with a dedicated design system Developer. This role requires a strong focus on product discovery to ensure that design decisions align with user needs and business objectives.
What will your duties be?
- Lead the design initiatives for the desktop application, focusing on enhancing user interaction and visual design
- Collaborate closely with another Product Designer dedicated to the desktop suite to ensure design consistency and innovation
- Work within a growing product design team where clear, effective communication and collaboration are essential
- Engage in product discovery phases to deeply understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points
- Collaborate with a dedicated design system engineer to ensure consistency and efficiency in design implementation across the platform
- Conduct user research and usability tests, and incorporate feedback into design iterations
- Guide the development of prototypes and design specifications, ensuring detailed documentation for development teams
- Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative team environment
What do we need from you?
Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly with desktop applications
- Demonstrable experience in leading design projects and collaborating within a team-focused environment
- Portfolio featuring examples of design work and applied design decisions
- Proficiency with Figma, as it is our primary design tool
- Solid understanding of product discovery processes and how to apply insights to product development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across different areas of a product
- Proactivity and can-do attitude, leadership ambitions are most welcome
- Interest in crypto and modern technologies is a big advantage
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of Czech as an advantage
