Private label is a strategic priority for Bonami, and we are looking for someone to build and scale it in a structured, commercially driven way. You will take full ownership of the private label business - from defining the product strategy to delivering measurable results. This is not a coordination role, but a leadership position responsible for shaping a complex product and business area with clear processes, strong execution, and accountability for outcomes. You will report directly to the CCO and act as a partner to senior management. Over time, you will build and lead your own team to scale private label across categories.

Your responsibilities

Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the private label business across categories
  • Define the product and sourcing strategy - what to build, where to focus, and why
  • Identify growth opportunities based on data, trends, and commercial potential

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the full process from product concept to market launch
  • Set up and continuously improve processes to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Ensure products are delivered on time, within target cost, and at expected quality
  • Identify risks early and resolve issues proactively

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Align Category Management, Supply Chain, Inventory, Finance, and Marketing around shared goals

Supplier & Commercial Management

  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Negotiate commercial terms with a focus on margin, cash flow, and long-term sustainability

Team Management

  • Gradually build and lead a team to support the growth of private label

What success looks like?

  • Private label is growing - in both revenue and margin
  • Products sell and make commercial sense
  • The supplier model is stable and predictable
  • Products launch on time and without chaos
  • Internal teams are aligned and work effectively together
  • You have full control over key metrics - margin, pricing, stock, and cash flow
  • You build a team that can support growth without increasing complexity

You are perfect for this role if you

  • Have experience in private label, sourcing, or category management.
  • Have a strong understanding of how product, cost, and margin connect - and the ability to make decisions accordingly.
  • Can manage complex processes and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Have confidence in decision-making and full ownership of outcomes.
  • Have a hands-on approach with attention to detail when needed.
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills in English (internal and external).
  • Have a strong product intuition supported by data and commercial thinking.
  • Have the potential to build and lead a small, high-performing team.
  • Experience in furniture or home & living is a strong advantage – it will help you navigate products, suppliers, and category specifics more quickly.

This role may not be a good fit if

  • You are looking for a purely operational or execution-focused role.
  • You want to focus only on design or only on sourcing.
  • You don’t have experience managing a complex product or category.
  • You are not comfortable working with numbers and commercial decisions.

What we offer

  • Real ownership of a strategic part of the business.
  • Direct impact on results and direction of private label.
  • The opportunity to set things up properly and for the long term.
  • The possibility to gradually build your own team.
  • You will rely on experienced teams across the company to help scale private label without building everything from scratch.
  • A direct and pragmatic environment without unnecessary bureaucracy.
