Junior Data & Reporting Specialist - part-time

Work schedule
Part-time
Address
Křižíkova 148/34, 186 00 Praha

Join our internal finance team as a Junior Data & Reporting Specialist — a part-time role for 20 hours/week, focused on building and looking after the data foundation our finance decisions rely on. You’ll make sure our internal Snowflake data warehouse holds clean, well-structured data, build clear and reliable reports and dashboards on top of it, and automate the financial processes that today take too long to run by hand. It’s a great fit if you’re early in your career and already have some hands-on experience — a student, a recent graduate, or someone with a first work stint behind them — and you want real ownership of real business data.

What will you do?

  • Build and improve reports and dashboards in Tableau (and over time potentially Power BI or Sigma), with a strong focus on data quality, clean visualisation and fast turnaround
  • Make sure our internal Snowflake data warehouse holds sufficient, well-structured data — model, transform and organise it so it’s reliable and easy to work with
  • Build data pipelines and, where needed, simple APIs (with the help of AI) to bring new data sources into the warehouse
  • Automate financial processes — for example commission calculation and the issued-invoices workflow — so they run reliably instead of by hand
  • Work closely with the finance team to understand what they need and turn it into dependable data and reporting
  • Keep our data accurate and trustworthy, and help us make reporting faster and cleaner over time

About you

  • You’re early in your career and eager to grow — a student, a recent graduate, or someone with a first bit of work experience. Ideally in data, IT, economics or finance field
  • Working knowledge of SQL for extracting and transforming data; any experience with a cloud database like Snowflake is a plus
  • Comfortable building reports and dashboards in Tableau, or keen to learn it quickly; experience with any BI tool counts
  • Open to use AI tools to move faster — for example to help wire up a simple API
  • Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in finance
  • Reliable and organised, and comfortable taking ownership of your own area
  • Any exposure to financial systems or basic accounting principles is welcome
  • Clear communication in Czech and English

What can you expect

  • Real ownership of our internal finance data stack Snowflake, SQL and Tableau — with room to shape how we do reporting and automation
  • Solid benefits package: extra 10 days of leave, multisport card, generous annual learning budget, open bonus structure, local and international knowledge sharing sessions, and more
  • Hybrid flexibility – we meet in the Prague office regularly (around 2–3 days a week), and since the role is part-time we’ll flex around your schedule
  • AI-friendly by default – we stay current, experiment with new tools, and treat AI as a genuine work partner
  • Continuous learning and development to keep your skills sharp
  • If you're a keen sportsman, you'll find plenty of company here :)

I've enjoyed all these years doing meaningful projects that make a real impact. I see people growing around me and how we export their Czech know-how to the whole of Europe.
