Open position at GAMEE
User Acquisition Manager | AI & Subscription Apps at GAMEE
- Work schedule
- Full-time (Remote job)
We know games. Subscription apps are a newer chapter for us, and we’re looking for someone who’s been there before. At GAMEE, we’re launching AI-powered consumer apps. We have ideas to test, products to launch and plenty to learn. You’d help us get those apps in front of the right people and understand what actually gets them to subscribe. And stay. You’d join Álvaro, our Head of Growth, Moe in performance marketing, and Ramil on creatives. A small team. You’ll report to Álvaro and own the day-to-day acquisition work for your apps, with agreed budgets and targets.
The work
You’ll find and test the acquisition channels that make sense for each app. We’re particularly interested in your experience with Meta and Google, but there’s room to explore TikTok, Snapchat, DSPs, creator partnerships or even offline ideas. You’ll launch campaigns, manage budgets, propose ad angles and use the results to recommend where we go next.
There’s more to it, though:
- Work with Álvaro on early tests for new app ideas. Which audience? Which message? What have we learned, and is it enough to recommend another test or a bigger investment?
- Team up with Ramil on creatives. Bring competitor references, fresh angles and hooks, then turn them into briefs he can actually use. Look at the results together and work out what to try next.
- Follow users beyond the install. Cheap downloads are nice, but we need to understand who pays, who renews and whether the acquisition cost makes sense.
- Spot problems in the funnel and bring useful suggestions to Product, whether that’s the store page, onboarding, paywall or offer.
- Share your findings with Álvaro and the rest of the team. Use AI wherever it helps you research, analyze or test faster.
You won’t need someone to hand you a task list every morning. You should be comfortable coming back with “here’s what I’m seeing, and here’s what I think we should try.”
A bit about you
You’ve worked on consumer subscription apps. Utilities, productivity, photo and video, education, wellness… we’re open on the category. Experience with AI apps would be great, but it isn’t a requirement.
What matters most:
- You know Meta Ads well. You’ve managed campaigns yourself and can talk us through the decisions you made.
- You’ve run Google Ads too. Enough to launch and manage campaigns independently.
- You’re curious beyond the channels you already know. You can spot a promising opportunity, explain why it might work and put together a sensible test. Experience with other channels or formats, including TikTok Spark Ads, Snapchat, DSPs or offline acquisition, is a plus.
- You understand subscriptions. Paying subscribers, trial conversion, renewals, CAC, LTV and payback are things you’ve worked with.
- You have a feel for creatives. You can explain why an angle might connect with someone and how you’d test it.
- You’re comfortable with data and attribution tools. Including when the numbers don’t quite agree.
- You take initiative and work well with others. Bring ideas, ask questions, disagree when you have a reason.
- You communicate clearly in English.
We’re thinking around 3+ years of relevant experience, but it’s not a magic number. Less experience and a strong project or results to show us? Send it over.
Web-to-app funnels and paywall testing would be useful extras.

Sound like your kind of role?
Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile, plus a few lines about an app you helped grow. What did you personally own? What did you try? What happened?
No need for a polished cover letter. We’re more interested in hearing how you work, including the tests that went nowhere.
